OpenPM² is a free version of the PM² methodology developed by the European Commission in 2007. Until the end of 2016, PM² methodology and certification was only available to EU institutions’staff, with the OpenPM², the EU Commission decides to provide open access to the PM² Project Management Methodology beyond purely EU institutions and including Contractors, Member States and finally all EU citizens.
OpenPM² is based on best practices, standards and methodologies, such as PRINCE2, PMI’s PMBOK and IPMA and it was adopted by all European institutions due to its simplicity.
OpenPM² addresses typical project issues like low maturity organisations, lack of executive support, inconsistent vocabularies between project actors.
PM² is open source: the European Commission aims at improving the effectiveness of EU funded projects(ERDF, H2020, Life etc.) by encouraging project teams to adopt a methodology and manage projects in a professional manner.
Are you involved in EU project funding (responding to Calls, managing funds) and would you like to improve the quality of the proposals (better estimates, better scheduling and resource planning),PM² provides guidance for all people involved in such projects.
Would you like to know more about it?

ITIL continues to support organizations and individuals to gain optimal value from IT and digital services but it needs to allow firms to keep pace with an ever faster and complex business environment which requires them to be agile and ready to changes.
To answer to the new business challenges, Axelos developed a new version of ITIL, ITIL 4 . The module ITIL 4 Foundation will be the first to be released and the launch is scheduled for the 28 of February.. The update involved more than 2000 professionals with the aim of developing a framework which is agile and easy to apply. The ITIL version 4 framework is built on established ITSM practices and expands itself to the wider context of customer experience, value streams and digital transformation, as well as embracing new ways of working.

TAILORING: “Adapting a method or process to suit the situation in which it will be used” (from “Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2” manual, p.30)
The 2017 version of PRINCE2, while keeping the essentials of the method unchanged, focuses on the principle of TAILORING, underlining how PRINCE2 should be tailored for a project’s particular circumstances. The renewed emphasis on this principle is proven by a completely new chapter on “Tailoring and adopting PRINCE2″. In this chapter the authors show how PRINCE2 can and MUST be tailored to suit specific situations. To that they add a lot of useful tips on what can be tailored and how.” In the end, “If the organization does not consider tailoring, then it is not using PRINCE2” (from “Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2” manual, p.31).
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Tailoring can be applied to processes, themes, roles, management products and terminology: tailoring is concerned with the appropriate use of PRINCE2 in any given situation. This 1 hour workshop will show you how to apply PRINCE2 for very simple projects (“PRINCE2 on A4”) and for bigger projects that will require a more complex PRINCE2 tailoring.
WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND THIS WORKSHOP?
After following this workshop you will understand what to look out for and how to adapt your approach to the scale and complexity of your project, without compromising your ability to manage it. This helps you to make a conscious choice of which project management elements to simplify and which elaborate, to be able to confront projects of different size and complexity.

Agile approaches continue to increase in popularity in the world of project management. A range of popular Agile methods have been employed to varying degrees by organizations to support their project management practices.
But few of them offer a complete project management solution (e.g. covering the full project lifecycle, roles & responsibilities, etc).
AgilePM guidance – published by the Agile Business Consortium – offers a complete framework for agile project management, achieving an ideal balance between the standards, rigour and visibility required for good project management, and the fast-pace, change and empowerment provided by agile.
And it’s proving very popular. Since it’s introduction in 2010, over 80.000 AgilePM exams have been sat globally, making it the leading guidance and certification for agile project management.
APMG International
The AgilePM guidance is owned and published by the Agile Business Consortium, and APMG International (official exam and accreditation institute for this guidance) is working in the Project Management community to increase awareness about AgilePM. This webinar is organized in partnership with APMG International.

As part of our effort to provide more on information on “What’s next after Project Management?” with this webinar we introduce you to PMO Management.
If your focus is on improving the way that projects are done (so that more projects succeed and change is more effective), then you should consider P3O, which explains how to use offices to support projects, programs and portfolios. You can facilitate effective portfolio, programme and project management in your organization by implementing a PMO Office. This may be provided through a single permanent office which may exist under several different names e.g. PMO, Portfolio Office, Centre of Excellence, Enterprise or Corporate Programme Office. It may otherwise be provided through a linked set of offices (portfolio office, programme offices, project offices), both permanent (enabling/supporting business objectives and consistency of delivery) and temporary (enabling/supporting specific programmes and projects), providing a mix of central and localized services.
