Courses
The ITIL Strategic Leader designation in practice
ITIL Strategic Leader consists of two modules:
- ITIL Strategy (Version 5)
- ITIL Transformation (Version 5)
To obtain the ITIL Strategic Leader designation, candidates must complete both modules. Accredited training is mandatory for the ITIL Strategic Leader modules to ensure a full understanding of the core material. ITIL Foundation (Version 5), ITIL Foundation Bridge (Version 5), or any ITIL 4 certification is a prerequisite for the modules.
ITIL Strategy (Version 5)
This module provides individuals with the practical skills necessary to develop and implement effective digital strategies that align organisational goals with the creation of sustainable value.
The module provides ITIL practitioners with a practical and strategic approach to understanding opportunities, making informed decisions and guiding digital products and services towards desired outcomes.
ITIL Strategy is aimed at professionals involved in shaping organisational direction, strategic decision-making and the management of digital products and services. It covers both practical and strategic elements.
ITIL Transformation (Version 5)
This module explores how ITIL can support organisations in leading and enabling successful transformation. ITIL Transformation provides a structured and flexible approach to navigating organisational change, adapting to new opportunities and realising sustainable value from digital transformation.
The module enables IT and digital leaders to influence strategic decisions and drive successful transformation by helping them to:
- Understand the drivers, opportunities and challenges associated with organisational transformation
- Develop approaches for leading and enabling transformation while maintaining focus on value and organisational goal
- Apply ITIL guidance to support transformation across digital products, services, people and ways of working
The module also explores how organisations can use modern technology, including AI, to support transformation and respond effectively to evolving business and digital needs.
