TOGAF® 9 Foundation and Certified Combined Course

The TOGAF® 9 Foundation and Certified Combined training includes BOTH the Foundation and the Certified certifications. Both the TOGAF® Foundation exam and the TOGAF® Certified exam are included. Candidates can benefit from a reduction of 15% on the total price by choosing the Combi training.

The TOGAF® Combi course consists of two courses: the TOGAF® Foundation and the TOGAF® Certified course.

The TOGAF® Foundation course aims to ensure that a candidate has gained knowledge of the TOGAF® terminology, structure, and basic concepts, and understands the core principles of Enterprise Architecture and the TOGAF® standard.

The TOGAF® Certified course aims to ensure that, in addition to the knowledge and comprehension of TOGAF® 9 Foundation, a candidate is able to analyze and apply this knowledge.

Following the completion of the course participants should demonstrate their understanding of:

  • The basic concepts of Enterprise Architecture and the TOGAF® standard
  • The core concepts of the TOGAF® 9 standard
  • The key terminology of the TOGAF® 9 standard
  • The ADM cycle and the objectives of each phase, and how to adapt and scope the ADM
  • The concept of the Enterprise Continuum; its purpose and constituent parts
  • The ADM guidelines and techniques
  • The concept of building blocks
  • Pass the TOGAF® 9 Foundation exam
  • How to apply the ADM phases & Architecture Governance in development of an Enterprise Architecture
  • How to apply the concept of Building Blocks & TOGAF® Content Metamodel
  • How to apply the TOGAF® standard recommended techniques when developing an Enterprise Architecture
  • The TOGAF® Technical Reference Model and how to customize it to meet an organization’s needs
  • How an Enterprise Architecture can be partitioned to meet the specific needs of an organization
  • How to apply iteration and different levels of architecture with the ADM
  • Pass the TOGAF® 9 Certified exam.

TOGAF® Foundation Exam:

  • 1 hour
  • 40 questions
  • Multiple Choice Questions
  • 55% pass mark
  • Closed book

TOGAF® Certified Exam

  • 90 minutes
  • 8 questions
  • Multiple Choice Questions based on scenario
  • 55% pass mark

Upon successful completion of the exam and following confirmation of the results, the participants will receive a unique, secure and auditable electronic certificate from The Open Group.

 

It is desirable, but not essential, that participants have some Enterprise Architecture experience. Some pre-read material is provided prior to the training and is expected to be fully read before attending the course.
